Social Media Awareness Presentation Webb City Bright Futures is offering a Parent Engagement Presentationon Monday evening, October 6th at 6:30pm at Barton Theatre at Webb City High School. The topic for the hour-long presentation is Social Media Awareness. Get up to speed on how youth are using texting and social media. Learn popular social media apps. Learn how to set parental controls and privacy controls for devices. Learn how to maintain open communication with your child about the responsible use of social media and texting. Childcare is provided for ages 2 thru 4th grade. Family Reading Night Our fall Family Reading Night will be held Tuesday, September 23, 5:30-7:00 p.m. There will be a reading magician to entertain and motivate students. (two sessions: 5:45 & 6:30) The library and computer lab will be available for students to AR test.

Redette Dance Clinic for K-8 The Webb City High School Redettes would like to invite dancers in Kindergarten through 8th grade to participate in their annual clinic. The clinic will be held Saturday September 13 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Webb City Middle School. The clinic includes a warm up, a fun, age-appropriate routine choreographed and taught by Redettes, a snack, and a t-shirt, all for $15! Picture Day Monday, September 15 is our picture day. Order packets will be sent home soon and will also be available in the office. All students will need to get their picture taken for school records and for the yearbook, even if a picture packet is not ordered.

Student Sickness Policy If your child is sick, please keep them home to rest and recover. School Policy: A child should NOT attend school if they have any of the following: - a temperature of 100 degrees F or above. The child must be fever free for 24 hours without the aid of medication before returning to school. - vomiting or diarrhea. It must be 24 hours before returning to school. - an unidentifiable rash that has not been evaluated by the doctor. - one or both eyes are red, itching, and/or have crust on eyelids.
