No Shorts or Flip Flops starting November 1 November 1 through March 31, students cannot wear shorts or flip flops to school. If shorts are worn during this time, parents will be called to bring appropriate clothing.

Red Ribbon Week October 27 - 31 Monday: Hats off to being drug free! (wear a hat) Tuesday: Join the fight against drugs! (wear camouflage clothing) Wednesday: Sock it to drugs! (wear crazy or mismatched socks) Thursday: Living drug free is no sweat! (wear sweat pants or sweat shirts) Friday: Team up against drugs! (wear WC Cardinal colors)

Parent-Teacher Conferences Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Monday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 21 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Conferences are by appointment only, so please make sure you schedule a time to meet with your child's teacher(s). Our Scholastic Book Fair will be open to the public during Conferences on Monday and Tuesday.

3rd & 4th Grade Swim Lessons Swim lessons for 3rd and 4th grade will be held Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, October 15-17 and Monday and Tuesday, October 20-21. All students must bring a dry swim suit, a dry towel, and a clean pair of underwear each day of swim lessons.

Scholastic Book Fair Hear ye! Hear ye! Let it be known throughout the kingdom The Royal PTO Scholastic Book Fair is Coming Soon! October 20-23, 2014. Come one, come all! The Book Fair will be open as follows: Monday - 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday - 7:30-8:15 a.m. and 2:45-7:00 p.m. Wednesday - 7:30-8:15 a.m. and 2:45-3:30 p.m. Thursday - 7:30-8:15 a.m. --NO ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 8:15 a.m. ON THURSDAY--

Student Sickness Policy If your child is sick, please keep them home to rest and recover. School Policy: A child should NOT attend school if they have any of the following: - a temperature of 100 degrees F or above. The child must be fever free for 24 hours without the aid of medication before returning to school. - vomiting or diarrhea. It must be 24 hours before returning to school. - an unidentifiable rash that has not been evaluated by the doctor. - one or both eyes are red, itching, and/or have crust on eyelids.
