How Much Sleep Does Your Child Need?

Ages 3-6 should sleep 10-13 hours per night

Ages 6-12 should sleep 9-12 hours per night

Some behavior issues can be prevented, just by having your child get more sleep. Getting enough sleep also helps to prevent illness.

To promote a good night’s sleep, it is best to not have any screen time right before bed.  Also, having a consistent bedtime routine can help. For instance, have the child bathe, brush teeth, read a book, and then light’s out!
